You know how when you find something amazing and you want to share it with the world? Well, this is one of those things friends. I have big, big love for my Thieves Household Cleaner and it's many, many uses. It really blows my mind that one cleaner can pretty much do it all! I shouldn't have been surprised when this DIY became a fast favorite in my house. Now, Young Living makes Thieves Wipes, but because I am newly obsessed with all the DIY possibilities with my YL oils and products, I thought I'd try my own, especially after running across some inspiration found on the interwebs, This one is super easy y'all!
Thieves Household Cleaner DIY Wipes
2 cups of water
2 caps of Thieves Household Cleaner
roll of paper towels (I like Viva full sheet)
a container to hold half a roll of paper towels (I just used a container I had, but here is one that will work on Amazon)
Mix 2 cups of water and 2 caps of Thieves Household Cleaner in a separate container. Cut your roll of paper towels in half with a knife. Yes, it will work (I was surprised!) just don't use a serrated knife, as it will chew up your towels (maybe I speak from experience). Place the paper towels in your container standing up and pour the mixture over the towels. They will quickly absorb the cleaning solution and the cardboard center will separate from the towels, making it easy to just pull out. Now just pull your new DIY Thieves Wipes out from the center and get to wiping.
I have been using these all over my house! Just carry the container around and wipe whatever needs cleaning (bathroom counters, toilets, sinks, inside of your car, spills, your phone, door handles, furniture, toys, high chairs, changing table, bathtub, grubby hands...the uses are endless. Carry one in your car for when you're out and about. Grab a few and wipe the grocery cart down before you put your little one in, or wipe down the table and highchair at a restaurant. Like I said, endless possibilities! The big bonus, this cleaner is plant-based and super safe. You don't have to worry about exposing your family to the toxins that can hide in many all-purpose cleaners. And for me, that is a total win! Happy cleaning, y'all!
